FROM UNDER THE CITY

My fellow Kindred, I apologize to everyone for not making it to our last gathering. But I suspect that some Garou ability prevented me from arriving to the scene. But from what I hear, you all acted well, an none of the Garou wasted any of you. (Jack, only you could get away with what you did.) Now, to let everybody know, I have a new hat to wear. Our good Reverend Lee, whom is seeking higher spiritual an political stature. Has given me the position as KEEPER OF ELYSIUM.

An if you haven't heard yet, Jack Dawson is now Sheriff again. So there will be no factioned in-fighting between the Sheriff and the Keeper. I am still a Deputy, an I have great respect for Jack, so we should work well together. But that now gives all of you unthinking kindred a whole new set of problems.

If you fuck up in some manner that gets the Prince's attention, without being a Masquerade Violation, Jack Dawson will be paying you a visit. (Probably me as well, as Deputy.) But if you Fuck up in a manner that violates the Masquerade, WE ARE BOTH GOING TO FIND YOU!

An I believe that Jack an I both think alike in this manner. We are both PRO-CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. So, her is a simple way to keep off of our bad side.

IF YOUR PLANNING ON DOING SOMETHING, ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS FIRST.

A) Will this Action Violate any of the 6 Traditions?? (Any of your wondering what they are, see below)

  1. THE TRADITION OF THE MASQUERADE: Do not reveal our nature to those not of the blood. (i.e.: Kindred or Ghoul)
  2. THE TRADITION OF DOMAIN: Your Domain/Haven is your concern. In your Domain your word is rule, and may not be challenged.
  3. THE TRADITION OF PROGENY: Only your Elder and/or Prince can give you Permission to sire another. Without it, you an your childer will be slain.
  4. THE TRADITION OF ACCOUNTING: You are responsible for the actions of your Progeny, until such time as they are capable of surviving properly in our society.
  5. THE TRADITION OF HOSPITALITY: When in another's Haven, honor them. When entering a city, present yourself to the ruler properly. Without their permission to dwell there, you are nothing.
  6. THE TRADITION OF DESTRUCTION: Only your Elder and/or Prince has the Right of Destruction of another Kindred.

B) Will this Action Violate the MASQUERADE?

Masquerade violations are any action that displays our kindred powers to the mundanes. So, no Feeding in Public. No using Celerity to catch a bus. You should get the idea.

C) Will this action break any of Man's laws? Breaking the Mundane laws of mortal man are just as bad as breaking ours. Why, because it draws attention to you, an hence to us.

D) Will this Action generally upset, piss-off or Really Tork, one of the following:

  1. The PRINCE.
  2. My ELDER.
  3. Any Member of the Primogen.
  4. The Sheriff.
  5. The Keeper of Elysium.
So, please use some common sense when doing something. I don't like getting calls from the Police, about animal attacks inside a posh hotel. Or reports of people cleaving cars in half with a sword, or Circle K's being knocked over by unseen persons.
