But the crux of this writing is that I leave for 2 months and all hell happens. 2 Months ago I was speaking to a pair of Giovanni, we were talking deal deals, an it sounded promising. Now I hear that one of them is dead an the other abducted. All of this done by members of Clan Brujah, with a Gangrel thrown in for good measure, I guess.

I'm not overly surprised that Frank instigated the carnage, but if somebody can tell me the "Honest Injur Truth" about why this happened I would really appriciate it.

Now, about this trial that we just had. I guess that its finally time to speak out about it. This is gonna stray a bit, so stay with me.

We elected Dr. Wurster as our prince months ago(Probably the first elected prince in all of Kindred History), I feel that this was a step in the right direction. We acknowledged that we did in fact have a Primogen. (I was part of it, an it was news to me.) Now as I understand Kindred Policy/Politics(Don't correct me next time you see me, please. At least not with anyting longer than a few sentences.) The Prince has the final say over everything that goes on in his/her city. The Primogen(However its made up) is there to express the desires/wants of their clans to the prince, an to help maintain an ordered soceity.

By that reckoning, we don't need a Tribunal, that shold be the Primogen's job, or simply the Princes' duty. If we as kindred are going to be so lenient as to give every one who violates a Tradition or Elyisium a trial, then it should be the Primogen that handles it.

My sire(may he burn in the Vatican), told me that Kindred Justice usually comes in two forms. One, is that nothing happens. Two, is that its swift and brutal. What we currently have set up is the US Govt. in Kindred soceity. Our Prince is the President, the Tribunal is the Judicial Branch and the Primogen then is the Congress. I don't believe that there is any other Kindred city that has a similar set up. What makes us so different from Chicago or Atlanta or Dallas.(An don't answer with:We're at war.)

By having a Tribunal and a Primogen, we're duplicating some areas of Responcibility. So as a final thought, I think that the Tribunal should be dispensed with, an let the Primogen do its job. And not to fault any of the Tribunal Members, but I certainly don't want any Tribunal memember, present or future to bingin to think they're our equivilent of a Justicar.

By the way, the suggestions given to the Prince by the Tribunal, I agree with.

I was also pleased with the support offered to Sidney in her task to locate Tony Giovanni. I am also pleased that our Prince was willing to allow others to help her. And Devin, I can't really fault you with being perhaps a littl unhappy with you being acused an all.

As you said, you didn't do anything, other than be involved. You might have tried the "I was only following orders." line. But as a former/current elder(Has that issue finally been decided. yet???) I think you let Frank's natural charisma get to you. My only suggestion, is that when you talk with the Giovanni's, make sure there is still wine in the bottle when you get ready to leave. (Just kidding)

Well, that concludes my rambling for now. But I have something new to add.
