New People Person Well I'll be damned. They finally gave me a job. Whoo-Hoo I'm the new people guy. Wendy touched on this a bit at the last game but I want to clarify on it a bit and give you all the info you need. The admin. staff decided that it would be easier on our beloved STs if we had someone besides them who could meet with people who are interested in the game and sit down w/ them to explain what we are all about, help generate characters etc. Well I am that guy. Now, here are the rules for that sort of thing. If you know someone who is interested in playing please do not just bring them to a game and say "Give my friend here a character" That's a no-no. I enjoy playing the game and I don't want to miss half of it explaining the rules and what not to them. Also, don't show up early for a game w/ someone new and say "Hook 'em up" It takes me awhile to get in character so I won't have time to do it then either. Here is the proper etiquette for bringing in a friend. You or your friend can call me or e-mail me letting me know that someone is interested in playing. I then will get back in touch with you or the fiend to set up a time and place to meet and discuss. And please try to do this at least a week or two before the next game. This also goes for those of you who are already in the game who want or need to gen. a new character. I tell you now that if you show up w/ a friend at a game and I haven't talked to them then they more than likely won't play that night. So please just do what I wrote up there and everyone will be happy. Now get out your pens and papers, here comes the important stuff. My real name is Dan Terry.
