A New Font A New Font
I actually went out and got some fonts. So nyah. Any way, looks like that huge explosion of articles has ended and we're back down to normal. Please gang, don't be shy; we've gotten some really good submissions lately and I like it.
In other news, our host from last game had something stolen (see her article). This is very not good people, it's bad for the game (she was going to offer up her place as a default location in case we couldn't find somewhere else to go, but that is no more), not to mention just plain pathetic. Stealing from people who have welcomed you into your homes is low lifed and unforgivable; if you MUST turn to a life of crime at least turn to a path that requires a modicum of skill. On top of that, she is has been a very long term friend of much of the ST staff, and we aren't very nice people. Turn yourself in and things will go smoothly, make us catch you and things (and probably you) will get very ugly.
Next month we're looking at listing off a collection of all of those house rules we've made through the years. Little things that many of the newer players probably don't know, I would highly recommend keeping that one. Well, let's get on with things.
Last bit, the LARP on the web: http://tau.lpl.arizona.edu/~corleyj/wwolf/larp/newsletter.html
August 16 - More fun with the new Prince and Sheriff, come one come all, but try not to make them mad. At James (over Gate's Pass). Take Speedway west towards Old Tucson, turn right towards the Desert Museum. Go past the Desert Museum to Mile Wide road and continue west (Mile Wide evolves from Kinney so stay left). Take Mile Wide west to Sandario and turn left (south). Go down Sandario about 1 1/2 miles to Desert Oasis Trail (2nd st on right after San Juaqin - look for the sign), turn right. At this point go to 12001 (sign) which is the 3rd drive-way on the left.
If you come from Ajo/ State Road 86, go west to Sandario, turn right, and go to Desert Oasis Trail (hard to find, but it will be about 7 miles from Ajo/ 86), and then as above.
Advisory for people with big vehicles, or a fondness for psycho actives: use the Ajo route, it's safer and easier.
September 27 - It's official, the annual BIG game. This is our open entry game $3 if you pay early $5 at the door, food or beverage appreciated by discount. As always this one is at the Uni Uni on 22nd (they're so good to us). I suppose at this juncture it's safe to say this will be an art show, mostly featuring Natalia's (Sketch's, Sidney's) art, but if you've got some good stuff let us know. Yes this will be fun.
