Links to other sites.
Right now, this is essentially just a big list of links. Have fun with them.
The Web
- The 60 Greatest
Conspiracies Of All Time. Yes, it's a promotional site, but it's
exceptionally good: as far as I'm concerned, it is the
source for conspiracy information on the net. Ignore the weird Java crap.
- The Kook Museum.
The corresponding site to the Conspiracies, this Museum is a brilliant
compilation of the best the weird have to offer.
- Saucer Smear, the
magazine that proves that humor exists in UFOlogy, and more should.
Exceptionally good. Read it now.
- The
Propaganda Analysis Homepage. With plenty of examples, natch.
- Doug Thompson's DC
Darkside column is a brilliant look at the underbelly of Our Nation's
Capital (tm). My favorite is the story of Sally. Coming in
a very
very close second is When
The Job Doesn't Matter Anymore. There's also the disturbing "When A Stranger
Calls".
- Center of Attention. "The
Bi-Weeky
News and Comment of the Ascencion movement." "COA brings you the latest
in ET contact, UFO stories and spiritual information from a number
sources..." [sic] COA newsletters are regularly posted to alt.conspiracy
and are an blend of naive UFOlogy and well-meaning New Age philosophy. Be
sure to check out the archives section! More mumbo-jumbo than you could
shake a stick at even if you wanted to.
- The Art Bell Web Page. Art
Bell is a radio talk show host, whose nationally syndicated show
"Dreamland" is chock full of UFO information, news of the paranormal and
the unexplained, and in essence, everything you would expect from a show
called "Dreamland." This site is nearly impossible to describe. It has a
little bit of everything. As an example, here are two articles taken
essentially at random: [The
Chupacabra Lives On!] [Heaven's Gate Suicide
Page]. Welcome to Dreamland, folks!
- The Rapture Index. How
close are we to the Apocalypse? Don't forget to stop in at the
beautifully straightfaced Rapture Indicator for a
quantitative look, so that you know exactly how close "close" is.
- The Communion
Homepage. Yes, Whitley Streiber is back again. Don't forget to read
all the Streiber files at Saucer Smear up above before you go to this
half-promotional, half-schizophrenically delusional site.
- The CSICOP page. I'm a
supporter of the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of
the Paranormal, but think they should get a less ominous-sounding acronym,
either that or start issuing a dress code and Man-In-Black uniforms.
- Conspiracy Nation
Archives. This terrific mini-zine is a favorite of all serious
readers of alt.conspiracy. Brian Redman can be proud of this magnificent
work.
Take me
back to the FBI-SAD Page.
